Ok before you all start on harping I should look up hair salon through the threads I just want personal recommendations of a hair stylist that can fix the damage that was done recently to my hair. This person must be excellent and know what they are doing.

I got my hair done and the person who cut it was obviously not experienced. My hair was straight and smooth, I asked her to cut it into layers and now it looks like I have a horrible split end uneven poodle hair mullet. I have been crying over this and Mr. X is really feeling bad for me because he thinks I look deranged. If anyone has any recommendations please let me know...or dm me. Especially since Easter is only a few days away

Well, at least it's a "hat-appropriate" holiday.

I feel for you. Been there, done that. Try searching the forum for "Jeff" and his new salon. I looked and can't seem to find it. He is good and may be able to help. He used to be at Regis in Ingram Park Mall and now his his own shop in the Medical Center.

Here is Jeff's personal website: *Hair By Jeffery* » "Hair Do's & Hair Don'ts"

I would encourage you to make an appt and at least talk to him. He'll tell you straight up if there is anything that can be done or if it's something that's going to have to grow out a bit first. He's very honest and will tell you his opinion, but ultimately leave it up to you and what you're comfortable with doing.

Don't feel bad. You may look like a poodle, but at least you don't look like a shaved bulldog. Do you have any idea how hard it is to shave a dog bald?

Good lord, what am I talking about? Currently taking pain medication, I apologize for rambling. You were looking for a hair place....

Try Sharon at Salon Hideaway. She's very good. It's just north of Retama on I35. 651-0754.

Another vote for Jeffrey--and tell him to cut it short, like a bob, all around. He can texturize it and highlight it to make it look super cute!
