If you've survived under such austere conditions, something so trivial as cars legally parking in the street shouldn't bother you whatsoever...

Good point. Vehicles parked on the street are a traffic-calming tool that causes moving vehicles to slow down due to the narrower space and the uncertainty about what might be behind the vehicle that the driver can't see.

Folks, some posts above were deleted. The topic is "street parking." Let's stick to that topic.

Assuming there aren't any more suggestions of how to fix the problem, the OP should have the opportunity to report back on whether the solutions suggested in this thread worked or not.

There's only so much you can do,
and the same thing goes for anybody that tries to tell you how to have your house.

It's a balance between freedoms to give up and freedoms to enjoy.
Just don't let something that is never going to change like people parking in front of their house ruin the time that you should be enjoying your house.

BTW, what's "moobs"? is that "monster ......"?
Ha moobs are similar to boobs but man boobs lol

to the OP, if its in the hoa book, by all means report it immediately.
i too, am irritated by people not using their garage or at least driveway to park their cars.
its actually one of the things i check out when i was house hunting, streets cluttered with cars shout a bad impression.

These are my neighbors, well three out of their five vehicles. I guess I could be thankful they attempted to park them off the street, and on their yard....and partially on their neighbors.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!

Hey! That's my house! That minivan has a minigun in it for when my neighbors complain about my parking!

(For those lacking a sense of humor, the above post is not intended to be taken seriously! )

The dude in the minivan at least gets an "A" for effort. I mean, he tried but he's just not a straight shooter. It happens.

Either that, or he stopped at the ice house on the way home from work.
