Looking for a buddy to go cycling with, mainly on the greenway systems. I would love to have a female companion but I'm open to anyone. I'm happily married so I'm not using it as a farce. I have plenty of friends with bikes but there's always an excuse not to go. So annoying.

I have a road bike but I like going on the greenways because of the lack of vehicles. I'm a beginner so this done aerobically/leisurely and not for competition. I just really enjoy the exercise and how much ground you can cover on a bike. It's also amazing getting from one side of town to another on trails. You don't really realize how much nature is still right in the middle of San Antonio until you go on one of these things. At this point, I typically go 14 to 20 miles in a ride.

A little about me:

I was born and raised here in San Antonio, Texas. I'm 29 years old now and I'm a civil litigation attorney at a downtown law office. I went to local schools for high school, college, and law school. I'm married and I have a beautiful 4 month old daughter. I love cycling and a nice cold IPA after a ride is essentially heaven.

If you are interested, feel free to respond or to message me.

Thanks!

Try Meet-up or some of the cycling stores. If any of the cycling stores are like the running stores in the city they will have several groups throughout the week to get together with.

Thank you for your reply, ashbeeigh.

I have looked into those options. I guess the difference in what I'm looking for is frequenting the San Antonio greenways rather than the road routes they take. Also, a lot of times they travel to other close-by cities like New Braunfels or Gruene on the weekends and I should've clarified but I'm looking for something more of an after-work activity on the weekdays primarily.

I'd do it I I could keep up with you, but I just can't cycle as far as you do. Good job, though!

Thanks, Soviet. May I ask how far you typically go? Also, I'm curious as to what type of bike you are using, road bike, hybrid, mountain bike, etc.
