Any clubs that are still actively around since the 80's?
I can only think of two. Bonham exchange, Midnight rodeo.

One dollar got you four draft beers..
Phazes was up 281/ Nakoma to the left down from Gradeys BBq, warehouse district.

White Rabbit's music really isn't my type, so I never went. But I have respect for places that have established themselves as local institutions.

A little too young to see the glory days of disco. But did manage to get into Burgundy Woods in 1980 right before it closed. You could tell disco was dying. Saw a couple of dudes in there with the shirts opened to the belly wearing half a dozen gold chains. Wish I was old enough to really see the golden years.

Daddy's in 82. Remember hearing "Situation" and "Don't Go" by Yaz and "You"re The One For Me" by D Train;knew music was changing.

Saw The Clocks on leave at Cooter Brown's and did Rock Island a couple of times

Out of the Marines and attending SWT by 86.

Broad Street and Zig Zags/Confetti's to hang out with "The Beautiful People."
Club Reflex for my fix of Freestyle like Debbie Deb, Company B,Trinere and Nocera.
The Bonham Exchange on Wed night.
Graham Central Station and the Ft.Sam NCO for 80's Soul and Electro Funk(rap wasn't big yet).
Studebaker's and Kramer's for old school rock and Motown.
Sneaker's.
Sunova Beach for great live music.
Lindy's to chill.
Maggie's after the club's closed.
