I'll be heading down to the Riverwalk in a couple of weeks to celebrate my 6th anniversary with my beautiful wife. We will be staying at the Drury Plaza Riverwalk.

Where is the best place to get Seafood down there? She will likely want Alaskan King Crab legs. I'm unsure what I would want, red meat or seafood, but if the best place doesn't have the greatest red meat, that is fine.

We live in Selma and rarely make it down to the Riverwalk.

Thanks yall!

Take the short drive to Sandbar at the Pearl Brewery. If you must stay on the Riverwalk, then go to Pesca at the Watermark. I've never seen at any meat being served at Sandbar, so go to Pesca if you want beef. And hit up Landry's on the Riverwalk for a good happy hour also.

Chart House is in the Tower of the Americas...not sure if they have crab legs, but they have pretty good seafood...part of the Landry's chain.

I think you may have mis-typed, but Sandbar does have beef.

And it is, without question, the best seafood in SA.

Long gone

SANDBAR seems to be the popular choice. LANDRY'S might be a little less expensive. Have fun!

Pesca on the River is only steps from your hotel. Out the front door, take a left, go 50 feet to the bridge, cross over, take a left, 25 feet, there you go.

Gotta go with the Sandbar. I ate there several times when they were located near the Greyhound station, and finally tried their new location at the Pearl Brewery this past Saturday. Best fresh seafood in San Antonio, bar none. Also, one of the best Caesar salads I have ever had anywhere. It's big, so share it with your wife.

Sandbar is the best seafood in the city, but its also 1 of the most expensive spots in town. Shared app, 2 glasses of wine each, and 2 entrees w/ tip can easily surpass 150. That is long before you get to their much debated key lime pie....
