Does having a casino in town lead to any problems in Temecula and surrounding?

I would expect it to, having seen Vegas, but then again, Temecula isn't Vegas exactly, either.

Have lived 1 mile from the casino since 2009 near GOHS. We've seen some people laying asleep on the side of the hill along the bike path on Pechanga pkwy across from the casino maybe 5 times.(not sure if they were actually from the casino) Other than that we haven't seen anything or had any issues. I thought the same when we first moved in.

Security is always at the casino and they seem to do an OK job.

Pechanga tribal police won't allow drunkenness or anything outside, they are on it right away. If you want to test how good they are try the trails behind the casino and walk away from the neighborhood toward the casino and you'll have security on you in minutes. You will not see any issues in the area from the casino at all!

Makes good business sense.

If the place became a nuisance... it would be very bad for business.

They have to be on it... because everyone is *expecting* there to be problems.
