I have not turned the heater on and won't but it is very cold and a little windy tonight!!

Yeah, people who say it never rains in Southern California obviously have no clue. Yeah it may not rain as much compared to many other places, but the last 4-5 winters we have gotten a lot of rain and I remember during the summer we had thunderstorms.

It's cold, and my heater is on. My heater usage starts going down at the end of April. I get cold easily.

Yup, my heater's been on from about 7 p.m. until bedtime fairly consistently lately. When it gets into the mid-50s in here I get cranky and no amount of blankies or kitty-snuggles can fix that

I got home from work at 10, and turned it on. When I get ready to go to bed, I'll turn on the electric blanket, then the cat hogs it all night. If I'm lucky, he'll let me have a corner of it.
