Hello,

I'm (30F) looking at a condo in this area and am wondering about the general safety. I drove through around 11pm tonight and outside of numerous cars parked on the street and feeling a little cramped, it was pretty quiet. Is this typical for this area? Is the high school there much of a problem? Any insight anyone can possibly give would be very much appreciated as I'm having a really hard time finding out information on this specific area.

Thank you.

Not the best or worst area of Vista. There are many cars parked there at night because often multiple family units live in one residence. I would drive by later in the evening on Friday & Saturday nights to check for noise levels, i.e., multiple parties/music, and it is always noisy & heavily trafficked by a high school with a huge student body (school is out now, isn't it?). I would also check with SD Co. Sheriff for crime stats for the area.

Thank you so much for your input. I will be driving through (and hopefully parking) on Friday/Saturday to get more of a feel for things (I also hope to visit some of the businesses on Vista Way and ask some of the potential neighbors their thoughts if they don't mind, of course). I'm also looking into crime stats for the area, but having opinions from people is extremely valuable to me.

Many thanks, and take care.
