It came down about a mile or two southeast of University Town Center Mall, just west of 805, south of La Jolla Village Drive. That would have been real ugly, what with all the holiday shoppers and all. They're now reporting two dead in a house hit by the wreckage. Sad.

I'm trying to figure out what part of SD this is. Any idea of the cross streets or street where it was? Last I heard the pilot ejected and is in the hospital.

It's in University City. South of LJ village Drive, west of 805. Right on the western edge of the big green open space.

Looks like it was the University Village Park area, right under the flight path for Miramar. Google Maps

Per CNN it was a Grandmother, Mom and 2 kids at home at the time of the crash. What a sad day.
