Hey I'm new to the area was just wandering if it is legal or atleast ok for me to bring some of my handguns out in the desert and clear a couple hundred rounds...in Pennsylvania it's not legal to do it in the woods but no one cares not even the state troopers...

I am pretty sure it's legal, a lot of people do it. I think you need to be outside of the state park lands though.

There are a lot of ranges out in the desert. It would be horrible to be out there right now though.

I would check with the county sheriff's office first. The last thing you need is a firearms charge on your record or to have your gun seized.
