I just want to warn those of you who want to live in SD that jobs are very hard to get, especially food server jobs.The ratio of applicants to openings can be as high as 1000 for each opening. Please secure a job first before moving here or you will soon suck up all of your savings. Be careful, if you have a job, do not quit it until the economy turns around again and it will be easier to replace the job. I know many unemployed experienced food servers with 20 yrs exp who cant find work.
