Hi, I am moving to the San Diego area after being in Hawaii the last 26 years. I have never lived in southern california but have always dreamed of it. I am looking for a small quaint area that is affordable. I work at home so comute times are not an issue. Just want an affordable home in a quiet area. I am open to anywhere in the area as long as I can reach civilization within 30 minutes. A bit of acreage might be nice for a horse. I am single and white and would appreciate a place I am welcome. I have had enough of the "white people haters" living in hawaii for so long. Please , someone, give me a little direction as I do not know the area at all. thanks so very much, ilyse

Perhaps Ramona would suit you. Julian is probably too far away. You can also check Lakeside, Descanso and Alpine.
