I really enjoyed visiting Brisbane. What drew me in, like SF, was the hills and the views. I saw a lot of nice looking homes. I was wondering, however, what's living here like? Is it considered middle class or wealthy to any degree?

Any info would be helpful

Thanks

Hi there. I live between the borders of SF and Brisbane. Brisbane is a really tiny town. Much of it is on the hills. There are only a couple of community park, rec center, and playground. The city is generally middle class to upper middle class and even some pretty wealthy folks. Houses range from 500k up to over 1 million. The higher up in the hill the more it cost. I've noticed a trailer park home at the bottom of the hill though, but it's away from residential neighborhoods. It has easy access to 101 freeway, which can get you to downtown SF in 15 mins or so. The weather is generally warm, plenty of sunshine. I am not familiar with the school system.

Brisbane is really tiny and hilly, with only about 3,000 residents. It's not really that expensive or prestigious for the area, just convenient. Winds blow down from San Bruno Mountain. There are some really run-down apartments down by the elementary school.
