Good to see you too man! But I agree that a lot of other places get hated on more than SF and SF gets plenty of praise. I'm just saying it gets picked apart more than anywhere else I've seen, and that if something good at all is said it is more than likely gonna be spun against SF by one of its many critics.

Things that every city has issues with SF gets made out to be "out of control" with, and stereotypes that can apply to just about anywhere get blown out of proportion when haters/detractors are talking about SF. Its annoying, particularly when people aren't playing fair or are being hypocritical when they judge.

I guess a better way to put it is that SF is the most misunderstood city that I know of (with LA being runner up). I have never seen more people consolidated on buying into false stereotypes, nor have I ever seen more conflicting versions of how things "supposedly" are here. And I don't know of anywhere else (at least that I have seen) where transplants and outsiders alike argue to no end with the natives about the reality of living here. I have yet to witness even a fraction of the amount of outsiders try to "school people" on how their home is in any other city, particularly when the residents of those cities are unified in their disagreement with the others. But whatever, I guess it just comes with the territory. I do find it very annoying though.

Yeah that's all good. You are entitled to your opinion, and I don't even entirely disagree with you. Your comment and timing just happened to fall in line with what I was predicting is all.

I just thought the fact that I knew the thread title would lead to someone spinning it as somehow not being a good thing (and before the first page was finished) was just kind of lame. But not necessarily what you were saying in particular. Your comment was actually true for the most part, so sorry if that came off as me jumping on you for just stating what you thought.

So it's just the exceptions like yourself who come on C-D? Got it
