But they have a lot of units so it might be worth it to go see some of their places and they might have some other units in other buildings that aren't listed yet. Just take a good look at the apartment and take note of if there's anything sketchy about the building like bad smells or weird people hanging around, and if you have a good feeling about it still go online and see if anyone has reviewed the place online--San Franciscans love to ***** about stuff online. So if you read a lot of recent reviews mentioning bedbugs or lack of maintenance, that's a big red flag.

Keep in mind though that private companies like Citi will just about always still list their apartments on craigslist.
CitiApartments was sued by the City Attorney of San Francisco and former tenant class action law suits multiple times. The CitiApartments has since been dissolved, many of their properties foreclosed on. The family that owned CitiApartments still operate some management companies under (and revolving) new names.

They are the definition of greedy landlord that some many of you on this board rant about, yet you continue to recommend them. The problem with their apartments way went beyond some badly maintain older stock apartments. Please read up on them before recommending them.

One of the names they're using now is "Laramar."

Laramar SF Urban Apartments - Pacific Heights - San Francisco, CA

I didn't recommend them, I just named them and said to take their listings with a giant grain of salt considering how much flak they've gotten over the years. I didn't know they were broken up.
