It's not hard to get in that salary bracket with the right set of credentials and niche technical skills. It's not an every day junior engineer salary, but not super rare.

That being said, I'm fairly certain this particular poster is having a go at us.

I remember a friend and I having a similar conversation some years ago and deciding a single person would need to make $180,000 to live comfortably in San Francisco.

Low income for a single person in San Francisco is $63,000 and for a family of 3 low income is $81,000.

The op says he loves art and food if he like to drop $300+ On an evening out a couple of times a week.likes to travel internationally and wants a luxury car then if he considers that living comfortably he needs to make that kind of money(likely more)
