Hi, What are the best sources to use in searching for a house or apartment for rent in the Bay Area-probably the peninsula towns? I've been looking on Craig's list but wonder if there are better options. TIA

CL has the most listings. You can also try Zillow and Hotpads. I know some landlords or property managers use a service where listings are cross posted on all 3 sites.

Google "property management companies" in your area and just search their individual websites.

if you're looking for sale, Realtor.com updates the listings most frequently...We had found homes on other sites that were on for weeks after they had already sold with no update...

Hi QQ- Is craiglist pretty reliable and safe? I am using it for rentals. If you have an experience, can you share. TIA

#1 in Apartments for Rent | Apartments.com

No renter fee to the site. It's a rental listing site. The landlords pay.
