So basically if your neighbor is blaring music 24/7, smokes in the hallway and leaves his compost bin outside his door, and sublets the apartment to 8 people there is nothing that can be done about it. SF supes are committed to ruin this city at all costs.

Yeah and you can bet that if individuals were conducing any one of these activities in the supe's own neighborhood, they'd be stomped out of there like yesterday.

So now we reap the bitter harvest of the ones who evicted for greed.

What a bunch of fools to think that the abuses would be tolerated forever.

Of course there will now be restrictions on evictions even ones for cause.

What a bunch of dorks. Of course, the fast profit, greedy crowd never think long term, I have a theory that people like that are hard wired to focus on short term profit. Gamblers may be similarly wired but more out of control.

Yep. Did you read the article today about how the areas where tech buses stop has a high rate of evictions? That's also the crowd I think your talking about as well.

Yep. But you could also argue that the proponents of this bill are also in it for short term profit. Their profit in the near-term is that evictions will drop. Longer-term, as their neighbors reveal themselves to not be friendly and are obnoxious, the calculus might change.

SF is already anti-landlord. Oh well, the city better hope the tech industry stays in SF because of some of the locals get there way on kicking them all out of the Bay Area, SF would turn into a giant ****hole.
