Read the article. It explains why the high price. I don't agree that the consumer needs to pay for others education so directly. It seems rather untenable in the long run as we do not know that people will really pay that much for bread.

Shouldn’t it be cheaper because they’re in training? You know like a haircut from a barber/beauty school or whatever.

Admirable goal. I’ll pass. There is plenty of expensive artisan bread at a third of that price. I might try some pastries though.

I'd pay the $4.20 for a croissant, I love croissants. (Good ones not those nasty things in supermarkets)

Because there's demand for $29 loaves of bread. I don't get the fuss. If you don't want to spend $30 for a loaf of bread, don't buy it. I know I won't be.

There's a restaurant here in Philadelphia selling hundred dollar cheesesteaks. I'm never going to know how much better it is than the $7.50 pizza steak I had last night (which was suberb, btw). I really don't know how much better a cheesesteak can get.
