Hello!

My wife and I are coming to SF 1st December and we are planing to stay for 4 months.

I have been monitoring craig's list for flats to rent, but I need you advice. Which parts of SF do you recommend to look for for living?

We want to be as close to the center and the cool parts of the city?

Can you give us any user feedback? Much appreciated!

Kind regards,
Sebastijan

Here is a similar question on yahoo answers: How is San Francisco for living? Where are good and bad parts to live? - Yahoo! Answers
What is your budget?
I'm no expert on rents in SF, but someone here will chime in when you settle on one area or another.

Hello,

It really depends on how wealthy you are :P That's the only way to put it. If money is not an issue for you just rent downtown. :P But San Francisco is expensive even if you are rich so I'd suggest the mission area, which is probably the most affordable area of the city, it is in the heart of the hispanic community and is a place San Francisco is very proud to have. And if you cannot find anything there. I would try Ingleside, Sunset and if all of that brings no luck, try Daly City, it's a suburb of SF and right next to SF. Good luck!
