I posted this originally in the wrong place:

Hello!

My husband has been offered a job ($$ not much more than he is making in Tx - bummer but we are ready to give up the land and magahouse for some Cali fun!). When we visited I really liked Boulder Creek. Can I get more information on the white supremecy issue there? I am Hispanic, my husband Caucasian and while my kids are gorgeous , they look more like me except tall. I don't want to move to a place that will make them feel out of place, bullied or subjected to white supremicists. It didn't seem very diverse in Boulder Creek but we did live in Idaho and had the best experiences, given how un-diverse it is and the people we met in Boulder Creek seemed so very nice!

Any other info on Boulder Creek would be great!!! Thank you!

I replied to you in the other forum but in case you didn't get it, I said that you should be fine there, the rumor you here on this forum are not true.

Thank you! I thought I'd better move my post if I wanted some more info on Boulder Creek! I have done research on Boulder Creek and it seems like the small town we'd like to raise our family in with proximity to a lot of fun outings! (I also liked Scotts Valley but preferred the smaller town of BC) Since we will be buying a house - if it is not in a place we really like, then it seems we will be stuck for along time since it is not a sellers market there. I'm so glad to hear that most of what I read was rumors or from people not really in the know.

We will be in town rather than up in the "mountains" since I did not want to be isolated in the dark, wet winters - I knew that much from my research. Our realtor is looking for sunny spots close to downtown. And what we saw from the downtown was nice.

Other details we should know about living in BC would be greatly appreciated - like the cute school, things to watch out for, things we'd enjoy - etc!
