I am looking to rent a 1 bedroom apartment in either Campbell, Saratoga or Los Gatos. If anyone has good recommendations for places to rent, I would appreciate your feedback and help. Right now, I want to save my cash for a future down payment on a home and with a new job, want to make sure it is stable before I plunge into home ownership.

I was happy on Boynton in West San Jose. I rented a 1 bed for 4 years and then bought. The apartments along Boynton are average working people and it's close to everything.
My nephew rents in the same area off of Kiely behind the dealerships and he loves it.
When I am looking for a place I drive it during the day and at night. Sometime what looks great during the day is very different a few hours later.

Thanks, well I have decided either Mountain View or Los Gatos as both are my favorite places in the area.

Lots of cheap apartments down behind the Traders Joes near 17/85. They're all a bit dumpy, but they're unbelievably cheap for the area.
