Hi,

I am new to the area.

I am looking for a map / routes of bike paths through the San Jose and potentially the Bay Area that will get me to Ellis and Middlefield in Mountain View.

My preference is to ride to work and avoid the traffic. Accordingly, I'd like a apt close to a main bike path....I heard there is a Steven Creek bike path??? The location / apt is TBD depending on the proximity to the bike path.

Thanks, Ron

Stevens Creek trail is very nice. I go biking on it all the time. Unfortunately, while it'll get you to Ellis/Middlefield, it won't connect with SJ (to my knowledge). It goes to Shoreline Park on one side to near the Mountain View/Sunnyvale/Los Altos border on the other. I know that it connects with the Bay Trail near Moffett Field, which goes through the slough area, but to my knowledge, it doesn't connect directly with the trails in SJ, which go along Guadalupe Creek.
