I did 2 implants on mandible --- 800$ each. in Europe.
I don't know any side-effect! It feel so real and strong that you wouldn't believe.

Just few recommendations:
- Don't do "Mini" implant take regular one.
- if you miss more then 4 teeth make 2 implants instead one.
- Maybe you should consider to do surgery outside US (Europe) since it's much cheaper to go there and back and you can pick top quality dentist for much less!

Years ago, my wife had consultations with nearly all of dentists in the southern Silicon Valley area for multiple procedures, including implants, which took place over multiple years. She probably talked to 30+ dentists and had various procedures done with several of them. Every single dentist which she met or used had at least one serious shortcoming in competence, professionalism and/or business practices. The dentists in this area are good enough for exams, cleanings and straightforward fillings but aren't worth recommending for anything more complicated.

If your only option is to do it in this area, have consultations with several dentists and be prepared (but hopefully not) to have to change dentists midway in order to finish the job. Get the procedure and cost in writing and carefully review the document to ensure that the dentist plans to do the entire job and not just one part of it. Ask for referrals and carefully examine their specialty; dentists are more than happy to attempt a procedure even if they have no experience with it and it's outside their specialty, using the patient as a way to learn.

Hi
I am about to lose my front bottom tooth after I developed an abscess.
My dentist has recommended any of four procedures which I am going to discuss with the orthodontist specialist whom I am seeing in a couple of weeks.
I could have a bridge, an implant, a brace to move the teeth to cover the gap, or a plate. He explained that surgical implants are very expensive but probably the most efficient. I will have x-rays in the two weeks time to discover if any further teeth have been damaged and whether or not implants would work due to bone density etc.
My job is an entertainer at a Holiday resort, and I work with children so I last thing I need is a gap right in the front of my mouth. Obviously I am panicking big time over this.

My questions are:
1. What procedure would you recommend?
2. As a self employed entertainer is there any tax relief for such a procedure as it will affect my work without doubt?

Any advice would be very welcome.
Thanks
