Less than a month after Great Lakes Airlines resumed 19-seat Beechcraft 1900D turboprop service between Santa Fe and Denver, it looks like ExpressJet Airlines operating on the behalf of United Express will be operating this route 2x daily using 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 regional jets starting May 1, 2013:
United to starts flights between Santa Fe, Denver - KGWN

It looks like many Santa Fe locals are starting to accept the Santa Fe Municipal Airport as a serious alternative to Albuquerque International Sunport. Could Delta Connection/SkyWest Airlines to Salt Lake City be next?

A couple months ago my friend in LA was picking up a friend of his at the airport arriving from NM. I assumed she was coming from ABQ but he said it was direct from SF, which I found a bit surprising.

What other cities can you already fly to from Santa Fe?

Speaking of this, I wonder what will be happening to Great Lakes Airlines' service to Denver after United starts the route. The Great Lakes Airlines service is subsidized by the Essential Air Service program from Clovis to Denver, with Santa Fe being used as a stopover.
