What I've learned thanks to SoFLGal is an important pulse to keep your finger on is trends with house sales here in SW FL. May didn't change a whole lot from April--slightly down in number of houses sold in PGPCNP but up in SAR; down about $8K in average sales price (but that fluctuates every month up and down this year). Current Inventory and Months in Inventory continue to go down--a good thing!!! But, another source says the banks are manipulating this CI figure (since many houses are in "short sale" or in middle of foreclosure, there could be a bottleneck and these might not be included in figures). I'm not expert on all this but just learning more as I explore.

Well, one more house in Venice is under contract, woo,hoo! So let's add that to all those stats flying around out there. Must change my status to "Finally found our place in the sun!! Keeping our fingers crossed for a good inspection.
