the only airline that flied NY-SRQ is indeed JB. so its them or nothing I am afraid. USair and Delta would be with a stopover.

SRQ is a great airport, although if you are travelling further south then Fort Myers is another option

Go to www.ITASoftware.com and put in Newark and check nearby airports you can use (Atlantic City, LaGuardia, JFK) and arrival Sarasota and also add Tampa, Punta Gorda, and Fort Myers (or however far you will drive) and let it search for you.

While you cannot book through them and it doesn't show Southwest, it is the most comprehensive airfare search engine out there. Evidently it is the software the airlines use. You must go to the airlines website and book the exact flights.

seriously? the airport is just across the county border in Sarasota. You can get anywhere in Bradenton within 20 minutes.
