Saturday
Show Biz Expo -- Bradenton Area Convention Center in Palmetto, 12 - 5 pm, free admission. Over 60 vendors to help plan events, photo shoots, how to on creating your own movies.
Sprit of America Pops Concert -- by the Sarasota Orchestra, at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota, starts at 7 pm. Music and fireworks. Adults $15, children $5.
Cat Depot Mothers Day Kitten Shower -- bring items to help the center take care of litters of kittens. 11 am - 5 pm, free admission. 2542 17th St, Sarasota. Kids activities and adoptions.
