I am thinking that it may be originating from one of the recycling facilities in the area, but the aroma smells toxic to me with a chemical component. Thinking of calling the EPA

At one point there was a boat manufacturer in that area that emitted a strong fiberglass smell. Not sure if it's still there.

It definitely is not fiberglass smell---more like burning cow dung treated with chemicals.

Yup, it definitely is a "fertilizer" or methane smell. They must process it around there or something. Kind of the same smell as the phosphate plants. It's really obnoxious.

What are you doing in that part of town? 301 is a wasteland.

Based on the number of new home communities that are popping up all over this area, I would say that this location is growing and if these "fumes" are indeed hazardous to one's health, turning a blind eye never helps the situation!

Well, that area is pretty much "industrial" zoning, and I only smell it in the immediate block when I drive through there. Sometimes its worse than others.
