Travel, visits, fun...searching hotel sites & looks like peak is winding up and so are prices...Sarasota area for resting while visiting Boca grande & fort myers...seems to be a good place as far as distance from and cost....best accommodation, easiest access...

It seems to me that Sarasota is a reasonably priced central locale to the places I want to visit while on vacation & was looking for review on best place to stay.

why would you stay in Sarasota if your plan is to visit Boca Grande and Fort Myers? It makes more sense to stay closer to Ft Myers.

Well yes I thought that at first. I was thinking of Sarasota as a rest stop before going on. Driving. 8 he's to NC, then another 8 he's to Sarasota, before getting to main destination in Boca grande.
