Sarasota Farmers Market -- downtown at Lemon & Main, 7 am - 1 pm. Please note: market has moved temporarily to First Street & Lemon due to construction going on in the Lemon & Main area.
Central Sarasota Farmers Market -- corner Proctor & Beneva, 8 am - 1 pm.
Bradenton Farmers Market -- downtown Bradenton on Main Street, 9 am - 2 pm.
Corvettes on the Circle -- St. Armand's Circle, 8 am - 3 pm.
Siesta Key Amateur Sand Sculpture Contest -- near the pavilion, free event, open to all ages, 8:30 am - 2 pm.
Sarasota Veg Fest -- vegan food, yoga classes, music, animal rescue groups, various vendors. 10 am - 5 pm, free admission, Sarasota county fairgrounds.
Main Street Live -- free music, arts & crafts vendors, Historic Old Main Street in downtown Bradenton, 5 pm - midnight. Last MSL of the season!
Goat Yoga -- at Fruitville Grove, 7410 Fruitville Rd, 5 pm, $25/person.
Treat Yourself Like a Queen Womens Expo -- UTC Mall, 12 - 5 pm. Fashion show, makeup and hair care demos and tips, sample products, etc.
Forks & Corks University Master Class -- wine seminar at Michael's on East, 1 - 3 pm, $50/person.
Purple Reign -- tribute show to Prince, 8 pm, Van Wezel. Ticket info at

SATURDAY & SUNDAY
East End Volleyball's Competition on Siesta Key Beach -- various classes compete, free for spectators. Starts 8 am on Sat, 9 am on Sun.

Bridge Street Market --great farmers market option on Anna Maria Island, 10 am - 3 pm
Coquina Beach Market -- at the south end of Coquina Beach, 10 am - 4 pm
Siesta Key Farmers Market -- Siesta Village Plaza, 8 am - 2 pm
Siesta Key Drum Circle -- just before sunset at Siesta Key public beach, everyone welcome.
Ski-A-Rees ski show -- 2 - 3 pm, 1602 Ken Thompson Parkway (by Mote Marine).
Last show of the season!
Yoga & U-Pick Blueberries -- Albritton's Fruit Farms, 9665 State Rd 72, Sarasota. Starts at 9 am. $5 - $10/person.
