Default Looking for a Hotel w/ NYE party

Hi I am new here and I am coming down from South Carolina for NYE and thought I could find a Hotel that has a party at it already. So I don't have to drive. I am single and thought this would be a different thing to do. Does anyone have any suggestions on hotels w/nye parties either in Sarasoto area or Tampa?

You could stay in a hotel in downtown Sarasota and then walk over to the festivities. I think I might drive the kids up to Sarasota for NYE.

Hey gang, update on the festivities in PG. I called the Wyvern (new hotel on 41 northbound) and they have a $20 cover charge to get to the rooftop bar, even if you show up at 11:45.

Wow! Too rich for my blood. We'll just head down to the park to watch the fireworks!

Happy New Year!!!!!

PG was quiet... we started at Icehouse for dinner/beer/snooker. We were shocked that there were several empty tables (we got there around 9)!

We then moved on to Mooseheads, Celtic Ray, and Deans. We were at Deans for the champagne toast & fireworks. They were the only place with a band! We also stuck our noses into the Tavern, but it was empty!

We had a great time but were really surprised at how few people were out.
