Good morning.

A local school could use tennis balls for the bottom of the chair legs in the classrooms to reduce noise & protect the appearance of their floors.

I have contacted tennis ball companies. Years ago I was able to get some cases of their rejected balls shipped for a school we were working with, but Wilson has responded that they no longer do this.

I was thinking of contacting local tennis clubs, but wondered if you guys had any ideas or connections for used or rejected tennis ball donations??

good idea--will recommend this to my daughter for her own class
why not ask each child to bring two tennis balls for class materials--that makes 4 buffers for a chair

maybe the city tennis center or any colleges/high schools around that probably have tennis classes in their PE program
also any neighborhoods with tennis courts...

I would contact local tennis clubs. If you get a "no" the DM me and I'll start saving them. Easy to do. Tennis players use them up quickly.

Very cool, I am sure the school would appreciate it.

Maybe between my efforts & people donating here & there ( we can out fit all classrooms ) !

Thanks again.

Does the school have a tennis team? You could ask some of the other schools or colleges that have tennis teams - if you could have their used balls.

Can you pick them up? I've got about 100 used balls I could give you, but drop off or pick-up might be a problem....

That is a really nice gesture!! I was gonna suggest maybe using basketballs if he cant find enough tennis balls, but I won't . . . . But it looks like his problem is being really close to getting solved.

Well thanks again to Mikey. He met me right at an account to give me the tennis balls he had saved.

There is a need in places like schools & daycare centers etc to protect flooring.

Nice to see that the board can work for things like that !
