Venice/Sarasota questions
Hi guys. I'm moving to the Osprey area of Florida and was wondering what there is to do around the area for a 23 year old male? Any good sports bars and/or nightlife? I know about Sharkey's in Venice but was wondering if there's anything else within a 20 minute drive of Osprey.
Any suggestions are very appreciated.

You need to get involved in activities in downtown Sarasota. How did you land in Ospry? |

St Armands
St armands is VERY EXPENSIVE. Remind you of Hamptons, Nantucket, etc. For a young guy like you look at Siesta Key Village. Lots of night life closer to nokomis

Again, everywhere is expensive....you wouldn't want him sitting at a place like the DRIFT IN.....
St. Armands doesn't have to be expensive...you just need to know how to do it right there. |

I agree, you will be bored. I just moved out of Osprey at age 19 having grow up there. There is a nice little strip of bars and restaurants on Siesta Key.
