Softball in Sarasota (Venice: high school, college, move)

So now that it's thawing in Chicago, I'm getting that springtime itch. No, not that itch, it's base(soft)ball season! I ran a team a few years back and played on one two years ago, and know how tough it is to get onto an established team. We won't be down there this summer, but our move date is June/July 2011. Am throwing the bait out early in the hopes of catching a bite, anyone play on or run a team in any of the many leagues down there? Would be great to actually know someone before just posting on the available players list. My wife and I both play, so Co-ed is definitely an option, best case scenario to me is playing two nights a week, one on a mens league and one on a co-ed. I played a bit of college ball at 1st base and can play the field very well, 6'8" 260. My wife played in high school at 3rd base, but is more comfortable in the outfield now (line drive incident.)

Would TOTALLY be for a wood-bat hardball league or other baseball league as well, but would definitely need to work myself up to that caliber again!
