I am going to be working in the Lakewood Ranch area and was wondering if anyone had good experiences at an apartment complex they or a friend had stayed at. I am looking for somewhere I can meet younger people as I am only 25 myself.

If you are working in L R and are 25 go to Barndon or Tampa and commute as you may find this is a sleepy old town

Here are some options in Bradenton: Check Vista apartments, they used to be Colonial Grand at Palma Sola..They are located a bit from LWR, but I know many people that live there, your age and early thirties and they are very happy there. It's closer to the beach than going out towards LWR, and there are things to do like Tequila Beach sports bar, Clancy's Sports Bar as well as shopping, Publix, grocers, Target. They are located on 75th street.. STAY AWAY FROM SAWGRASS COVE! Also, check out the Palms of Cortez, they are condo's but they do annual rentals.. its gated and located on 51st.. you should be able to find a 1/1 in these places for within your price range. Im renting in this area and drive out past LWR for work, I usually hit LWR in about 30 minutes or so..

rentmeflorida is a decent company but I doubt they have much up that way. I would say srtingermanagement.com or coldwellbanker.com would have more in that area to choose from.
