Bizarre Foods on the Travel Channel aired the Savannah episode yesterday. I recorded it on my DVR. It was a very good episode that highlighted some good restaurants. I had been wanting to try Charlie Teeple's and watching this made me want it some more.

I also must try Clary's café. I was hungry when I watched this last night.

The host also had dinner with Lady Chablis at Elizabeth's on 37th. This is where Lady Chablis took Clint Eastwood when he was directing Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

Pretty sure the Travel Channel will air this several more times.

Really? I was told about them years ago when I was in Savannah but didn't go. Looks like I missed out on a real treat. I'm a big seafood lover.

Personally, I'm not sure what you're missing out on. To be honest, the place wasn't remarkable in any way I can fathom. If you like seafood, there are LOTS of other options for you around here.

I always liked it. Depositos is very similar. It's simple and unadorned seafood.

Despositos - one of the local options I mentioned. But, Despositos is actually clean enough inside to not make you think twice about eating there... And, they have a bar!
