Bizarre Foods on the Travel Channel aired the Savannah episode yesterday. I recorded it on my DVR. It was a very good episode that highlighted some good restaurants. I had been wanting to try Charlie Teeple's and watching this made me want it some more.

Really? I was told about them years ago when I was in Savannah but didn't go. Looks like I missed out on a real treat. I'm a big seafood lover.

Personally, I'm not sure what you're missing out on. To be honest, the place wasn't remarkable in any way I can fathom. If you like seafood, there are LOTS of other options for you around here.

I always liked it. Depositos is very similar. It's simple and unadorned seafood.

Despositos - one of the local options I mentioned.
But, Despositos is actually clean enough inside to not make you think twice about eating there... And, they have a bar!
