I'm not a big fan of spending money needlessly but Whole Food does have certain things that satisfy my needs. I am a pescatorian. WF has a salmon burger (fresh not frozen ) that fills that need. When I'm serving beef burgers to the crowd and I can have my salmon burger I'm a happy camper.

I really like Trader Joes and stock up on some of their prepared/convenience foods whenever I'm in a town and have the time to shop. You're right, their prices are reasonable. Savannah will get one eventually. The one in Athens is quite small compared to the one in Charleston. They must have several store models.

I like that Trader Joe's runs a nationally fixed-price model. My friend from Atlanta just moved to Manhattan and she was raving about how the TJ's below her building costs the same as the one in Midtown. She said everyday it looks like a hurricane has ransacked the store because it's probably the cheapest food in town!

I love TJ's, I generally do all of my shopping there and grab a few things at Kroger than TJ's doesnt have.
