system of "The city leaves no money on the table". By that I mean, the city collects fees from EVERY business including a license to drive a cab in the city, fee for the corporation, fees for infractions committed under the regulations of the cab license. And then some.

How does/will the city allow Uber car service to exist in Savannah without demanding the same or more that the established cab firms pay?

My experience with the city is they let no dollar on the table go untouched and will not want to give up the $$$$ income from taxis or allow Uber to drive around Sav without EACH driver paying up.

I guess the other one wasn't so much a gripe as it was a legitimate question, but it sounded like one in disguise. The police merger question was the other.
