Hopefully these plans reduce some of the congestion in this area.

I really don't think this will be enough, but short term, I understand it is probably all that can be done.

Hopefully some day that exit can be transformed into a full blown limited access interchange since it it is really a gateway for the airport.

This interchange should be converted to a diverging diamond interchange.

I was thinking the same thing, but again, I think for the long term, something limited access (like a much better designed 16/95 interchange) would better handle traffic.

Doubtful that'll ever happen, but I wanted to suggest it anyway. I'm also no engineer so I'm not sure there would be enough space for it anyway. *shrug*

Both Interstate 95 interchanges at Interstate 16 and Interstate 26 in South Carolina need to be rebuilt. Full cloverleafs are outdated. Directional flyovers would be acceptable. Such rebuilds need to allow for hurricane evacuation traffic flow.

I wasn't so much referring to the cloverleaf design as I was for a flyover.. I just couldn't find the right word, but you did it for me.
