The woman handling them was IMO rude and clearly enjoying her authority...it was amusing to watch her sadistic delight in telling distraught tourists that they would have to return in 3 hours

The seafood is good and that is what I want when I go to Savannah.

Maybe there is a schedule. I wouldn't be going there, having seen/heard more than enough about the food.
I think her brother owns 'Uncle Bubba's' on Wilmington Island and I would be more inclined to go there--if there isn't a line.
People used to like to go to Spanky's--on River Street and also on Tybee Island--maybe several other locations.

Paula turned over management to her sons years ago, but I don't think they're on the premises much, either. She films her Paula's Party show at her brother's restaurant.
As far as Uncle Bubba's goes, it's better than average, but not extraordinary IMO.
Spanky's has two locations in Brunswick, also; one on Hwy 17 by the marsh, the other out at Colonial Place Mall.
