Dunkin Donuts coming to Savannah | The Coastal Source

Pretty excited about this! Displaced northerner's husband loves his DD coffee! lol Not a huge donut fan, but they do have good coffee. He will be so excited since we buy their coffee grounds at Publix. Just thought I'd pass along! Love hearing about Savannah area development and growth!

I'm not sure if Dunkin Donuts ranks with development and growth. But it if it makes you happy...LOL

Would be nicer if we had another first-rate bakery and cafe. That would be progress.

Don't get me wrong, I don't work and am not affiliated in any way, but wouldn't you consider Bakers Pride on the South Side a first-rate bakery?

That was what I was referring to when I said "another first-rate bakery." I LOVE their doughnuts.

Life's too short to be content with more chain stores.

OK, you Savannah kids. I'm telling you right now that Dunkin Donuts doughnuts and coffee are the best. Since I am a MA girl, by way of Ohio, moving to Savannah, I am a happy camper.

I miss Krispie Kreme...had one next door to PF Changs in Mesa, Az and while we were waiting for our buzzer to buzz at PF Changs we'd go snag a free hot donut from KK. Mmmmmmm...donuts.

Oh, I love Baker's Pride. I try to stay away from there for fear of one day waking up 500 pounds! lol

No, I think when a new restaurant, store, shop, kiosk, whatever opens its doors, then that is GROWTH! I like options and variety, and I think when a city has that, then you appeal to the masses. I think Savannah needs to seriously get more box store options like Kohl's, Aldi, and a Trader Joes would be nice. Would love to see a Chipotle open here, and much more. From what I've read about development - it looks like Pooler is the place that will expand the most. And I'd be happy with that too!

We all have opinions...I don't think Savannah is going to hold back from growing. When the economy turns and especially when Gulfstream starts prodcution of that new G-650 they are currently testing, then there is going to be more growth of people! The area needs more variety and options to keep people here, vs. someone like me that has to travel to Jacksonville to get some of the retail outlets that I miss. Spending my money outside of the county and state for that matter doesn't help our local economy... * Off soap box *

Yum. Dunkin' Donuts has the best doughnut holes. My sister, cousins, and I bought a 50 ct box in Augusta and devoured the whole thing on the drive back here.
