Some time ago, more than 10 yrs, I read a book by Michio Kaku called 'Visions'..Great book by a guy I really like..I've read some more of his and they are good but a bit repetitive. His books (the ones I've read anyway) are basically him making predictions about the future of technology.

Anyone know of any books like this? They don't have to be books of predictions or whatever, but still be along the lines of the future of technology.

They don't need to be as broad as his books either, they can be more focused on individual technologies and the subject can be about anything really, from medical technology to computing.

Thanks!!

I think the best book to read is The Singularity is Near by Ray Kurzweil. There are some movies about it as well.

Here are some I would recommend:

Two movies that will be released next year look good.

I's- A feature film set on the threshold of infinity
