I have beeen here for 3 years from Florida. Jobs are not good here, very picky, and racist. Have to be a certain kind of person to be hired. Better job market than Florida though, it sucks there so bad. Thank God I moved. Mota is way better here too ha ha.

I think the OP was on mota when he/she posted. Seattle isn't nearly as racist as Florida.

Yes, employers tend to like a certain kind of person to hire, typically one who either doesn't smoke pot or is discreet about it.

They are funny that way.

For some reason, I don't think she's talking about former LA Dodger and Pittsburgh Pirate Manny Mota:

Is racism the best excuse you can come up with for not getting a job?!?!? Maybe you're uneducated or undereducated, have poor work ethics, asked your former boss if he had some "mota"and after the initial awkward silence, immediately fired you for such an asinine statement/word.

You guys from down south use the "race card" way too much...

Yeah, you have to have experience and a decent work record to get hired. If you want to use racism as an excuse, well, I have the feeling you are pretty good at making excuses by now, so feel free to believe whjatever you wish. Doesn't make it the truth, though.

A friend has three grown kids. The one that still smokes pot can't keep a job. It probably isn't because of racism. I'm all for legalizing pot, but first let's do away with welfare for slackers.
