Gorgeous photos! But you've got to know those are not typical of Seattle weather in December and January. I'm amazed you found even one or two days like that this last year.

Default Beautiful pics

Beautiful pics! Just some of the reasons why the Seattle area continues to rank #1 for us, while we try to determine the best place for us in the PNW. Lots of great places there, but only Seattle has everything we want. Thanks for sharing the photos!

Thanks! My wife took most of them. To be honest we visited in January to experience the winter weather because we are thinking of moving to the area. That's 3 visits in the past 5 years during "crappy" weather months that were absolutely sunny and gorgeous. These photos were taken during New Years weekend and while it was sunny, it was freezing!

Very nice photos! What camera was used if you don't mind me asking?

Echo the others on the pics. Spectacular!

Seattle photographs very well when the sun is out. Not so much otherwise. I've always felt Seattle is the most beautiful city in the U.S. on a clear day, but falls down the list bigtime on a cloudy day, although one can capture some interesting, moody pics on those grey days as well.

Thanks my wife will be psyched! It's a Nikon D90. These are just a few from our last trip so I might try and post some more if people dig them enough

Oh and the photo of Bellevue wasn't taken from Seward Park I believe we pulled off of Lakeside Ave and took a few photos in a parking lot.

I love the tone of the lighting in the sunset pics! Days like that are very rare for that time of year! Consider yourself lucky you were able to see them!

Same here. We've made 3 scouting trips and intentionally avoided summer. We've experienced mostly nice weather. Maybe it's a cruel conspiracy to lure unsuspecting new residents to the area

It is a conspiracy. You have no idea how many people we lure here in the summer! The it starts raining in November, doesn't stop until June and those same people are a little crabby. But we do get some good days as those photos show.
