Apartment Buildings- Downtown/Belltown/Capitol Hill ( Pet Friendly only!)
Those of you who are living in the Pet Friendly apartment complexes in these areas- can you please provide your experiences in specific buildings.
I've read up on almost all the ones I can find on yelp, and a trend I've noticed is a lot of the buildings will get you in 1 yr at one rate, and then crank up the rent for year number 2.
Also, most of the apartments seem to start at 1500/1 bedroom. ( for myself/fiance/dog- so studio not an option)
While I don't mind that, something lower would be preferred as there is Pet Rent on top of that in addition to like, three different deposits to have a dog.
I would very much appreciate any feedback offered- I apologize if this has been discussed at length before. Everything I can find is mostly about neighborhoods/where to live & I am looking for specific complexes.
Thanks!

Everyone has a dog and there's no restrictions on charging for them (unless it's a service dog, I think) so expect to pay a hefty deposit.
Don't pay attention to the review sites because, think about it, who is going to have a positive experience and post about it? I wouldn't. You'll have to scope the place out yourself.
And, as a person who works in belltown and wanted to live in the area (to walk to work), i'd just avoid it completely. There is a constant sketch factor and i've been approached by drug dealers numerous times on morning coffee runs (even in full professional dress).

Thank you so much for your input - - a little tricky to scope out for myself as I am currently in Boston.
There may be potential for a move in the upcoming year, and as someone who likes to have things figured out I'm attempting to collect as much information as possible. :-)
I'm aware of the large pet deposits, just trying to get a feel for different buildings from people in the area, since I don't have the option to check out places in person.
sketch doesn't bother me.
I've lived in Boston, and Tampa for a brief period.

There is a nice condo building in Belltown called Bellora that accepts pets. Very nice building that sometimes has rentals available. One block to the Olympic Sculpture Park. One block to the waterfront.

The Metropolitan Tower is a great place to live with a pet. However, you will probably be paying between 1,250 and 1,500 to live there.
