Hello everyone!
I will soon be joining a one year program in UW and need to find housing! I have narrowed it down to two apartments in the area, based on location and furnishings (both are expensive and probably overpriced but my housing is covered and these are the best locations). Both are fully furnished as is in pictures but I am having trouble deciding between these two apartments! Which looks better based on these pictures?
1) Stanford Apartments-Older, but has a lot of amenities like an oven, stove, more seating area,

My instinct is, the older one. More seating area, real kitchen, that's where you live!

Hmm, I'd pick the newer one - I'd rather have light than space, and the large windows in the more modern unit really let in the light. Plus, I could care less about an oven. I think I used mine 3x in college. Love the murphy bed/couch setup!

No contest. Stanford apartments. Proximity to campus, more amenities in the apt. Quiet building. And what they call a studio is actually two rooms. You get a lot more space. When you're living there for a year, that will make a big difference psychologically. It looks like it's about 3 times the space as the other one. Long term, you'll be a lot more comfortable in that one.
