A great sports week. Ken Griffey Jr goes into the Hall of Fame as a Mariner, the first to do so. The Seahawks fight sub zero weather and win against the Vikings.

And now an epic match this weekend against the Panthers. I like our odds - our defense is rock-solid and with Russell Wilson and a fine array of receivers ready, we should be able to move the ball. I don't know if we're gonna have Beast Mode's services yet or not. Fred Jackson and Christiane Michael will be ready - Michael gained 70-something yards against the Vikings in 6 degree weather. This one's gonna be a barn-burner sports fans!

Brutal. Besides the fact that Carolina is clearly much better than us and messed with the turf, and put a Appalachian voodoo spell on us, and God is on their side and punishing Seattle for its wicked heathen ways, and we clearly think we are way too cool for school, and karma is catching is with us for Amazon and Starbucks crushing competition worldwide, and the Hawks seem rather fatigued from that subarctic game last week, here's to a better second half.

Speaking of Appalachia, a scene from "Deliverance" comes to mind when thinking about this game.

I know Panthers, just playing. Brother lives in Boone, dear friends in Asheville, cousin in Hickory. Had to say something to make us feel better, nice work today. Panthers look great!

I find it interesting that many comments on social media are: "Great job", "We Still Love You", and "Wait till next year". OK, I get it, it is not cool to be a fair weather fan. However, in a 2nd round playoff game, you can't show up and perform like the Hawks did today in the first half. Just a purely bad performance on both sides of the ball. Yes, a hearty comeback, but if they had not put themselves in such a hole, that 2nd half would have put us into the NFC championship game three years straight. I will always be a fan, but to not criticize is denying reality.

That first half stunk. What cracks me up are these airhead Cardinal's fans getting all up in Seattle's face laughing at us. Right.

Have fun against CAR next week. Since luck won't be able ta help you much.
