Planning my move to Woodinville. I’m looking for a good elementary school for my daughter who has several disabilities. She’s both blind and developmentally delayed. I’d like to look for a home near the school best suited for her. Looking specifically for a self-contained ESE classroom with onsite teacher for the visually impaired and orientation and mobility instructor. Any ideas? Contact with the Northshore District has been unhelpful so far because so many administrators are on vacation.

My guess is Woodmoor in Bothell (some of Woodmoor’s attendance area is in Woodinville) or Cottage Lake. If you have Facebook I recommend joining the Northshore Special Needs and Disabilities Parent Support Group and asking there.

You might try contacting the WA State Department of Services for the Blind. Someone there might be able to direct you to the appropriate person to contact at the school district.
