"AMAZING Opportunity to own the most iconic Ferry Vessel in the Country! "The Dream" (formerly the MV Evergreen State) is a former Washington State Ferry with an amazing pedigree. The vessel was originally built in 1954 then rebuilt from the Super Structure up in 1988! This vessel is currently registered as The Largest Private Yacht in the U.S.!

The RoRo (Roll On, Roll Off) vessel is in great shape and has been upgraded with features required by Panama Canal for passage. Vessel has new batteries and all mechanical systems are ready to go! This vessel can be setup for the Ultimate Live-A-Board, Floating Waterfront Event Center, Floating Hotel and/or whatever you can imagine you have abundant space to do it!

The vessel measures 310' long and 74' wide, so you have over 45,000 SQUARE FEET TO WORK WITH! AMAZING OPPORTUNITY! THERE IS ONLY AND WILL ONLY BE 1 EVERGREEN STATE!"

I haven’t the slightest idea what I would do with it, but $122k would be a steal. Bidding will go higher, I presume, as it’s worth at least that much selling off the working bits and the rest as scrap.

I'd buy it, run it aground in Alaska, and feed it Sockeye.

I really thought it was going to go higher than that, I bet someone is going to do something cool with it. Could go anywhere, I read it was retrofitted to go through the Panama Canal. Maybe a new seaside restaurant in Dubai, who knows?

Only someone worth a billion would risk money on an old ferry. But someone apparently is going to have some fun with this. For awhile. Edit: I am old enough to remember the Evergreen State and rode on it as a child. If not mistaken this was the prototype of the WA ferry design of today.

Tried to convince my wife that this would be an awesome place to live and teach our kids in a practical way. Pie in the sky, of course it didn’t work
